Children’s Day Picnic - Oct 26th

Eurobodalla families are invited to celebrate National Children’s Week with a picnic at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens next Wednesday, 26 October.

The morning will be filled with children’s activities including dancing with a local DJ, face painting, bubbles, obstacle course, nature walks, Indigenous games, storytime and more.

This year’s National Children’s Week is based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child Article 17: Children have the right to information that is important to their health and wellbeing. The picnic will feature information stalls about health, road safety, and dental health under this theme.

It is the third year Council’s children’s services team has hosted the event, with families, long day care centres, pre-schools and family day care educators all welcome to bring their children aged under five. This year, grandparents are also invited to come along and enjoy the fun.

Families are encouraged to bring picnic mats, hats and a healthy morning tea to enjoy the free activities.

The picnic starts at 10am and finishes at noon. Please book by calling Council’s children’s services on 4474 1280 or email louise.hatton@esc.nsw.gov.au Eurobodalla Council Media Release
