Tuross Main Beach debris update

John Tilbrook of the Tuross Head progress Association advises: Warren Sharpe, Director Infrastructure Services, Eurobodalla Council has now responded to the concerns of Tuross residents and the THPA about the current state of the main beach and the inherent dangers it poses to the beach users. Council is presently reviewing what options are available to its works staff to remove debris in order to restore Main Beach prior to the Christmas summer period. Mr Sharpe wrote to the THPA: We are reviewing the options to assist the Tuross community prior to the Christmas summer period. We do encourage residents to take advantage of the available timber which does seem to be the case already. We will be having further discussions with the RFS and come back to you shortly.
