Tuross Head Floral Art and Garden Group news - Nov 2016

Thirty members of the Tuross Head Floral Art and Garden Group had a fun time last Saturday at Kyla Hall making Xmas wreaths with a floral theme, Xmas table decorations and Xmas card hats. The club, which was established in Tuross in 1973, is thriving with an enthusiastic growing membership who have enjoyed a year of interesting and stimulating guest speakers and garden visits. We expect to see bountiful vegetable gardens after advice by prize winning grower Eddie Hybler and glorious roses after experienced rose grower Robert Craig gave members the benefit of his expertise (Robert was a member of the committee that chose the Goulburn city rose). The afternoon teas have been very enjoyable and popular with an array of cakes and other sweet delights!!!

The club’s first meeting for 2017 will take place at Kyla Hall at 2 p.m. on Saturday 4th February. Visitors are warmly welcome to come along and share a pleasant afternoon with us. Gwyn Singleton, President.
