Days are getting warmer and so is the water - a perfect time to discover the thrill of Dragon Boat racing Narooma Blue Water Dragons was formed in July 2010. Since then our members have gained accreditation in Coaching and Sweeping, have represented our State at a National level and have been competitive in short and long course racing. We regularly combine with other Southern Region clubs for social paddling on local waterways, one of the highlights being the 20 km Mallacoota paddle hosted by Sapphire Water Dragons. Two of our club's major achievements have been the construction of a boat shed on the foreshore of Narooma's Wagonga Inlet and the introduction of Dragon Boating as a sport at Narooma High School. We also are in discussion with Eurobodalla Tourism about holding an annual Dragon Boat event in Narooma. Paddling Times: Saturday (8.30 am) for Come and Try and Social Paddling.
