Road works in Broulee and South Head

Road works in Broulee and South Head

Motorists around Train Street in Broulee and on South Head Road in Moruya should keep an eye out for roadworks in the coming weeks.

Eurobodalla Council is extending the kerb and gutter at the Train Street junction with George Bass Drive to improve road safety at this busy spot.

On South Head Road, Council crews will be installing a concrete pedestrian refuge island near the Keightley Street junction. This will allow safe access for pedestrians and cyclists from the shared pathway to the residential area on the southern side of South Head Road.

Council will also do some heavy patching of the road surface between Keightley and Maunsell streets, and that section of South Head Road will then get a re-seal before Christmas.

Both projects will be complete by the end of November.

Council asks that drivers slow down in the area and take notice of traffic control, and be aware of the changed traffic conditions once the work is finished. Media Release
