South East Arts has brought Grow the Music back to Wallaga Lake Koori Village for another month of music and film workshops, culminating in a huge community concert on November 18! The first Grow the Music concert happened in March 2015 and blew everyone away, so get ready for something just as fabulous this time! The concert will take place in the Community Hall at the Wallaga Lake Koori Village, starting with a Gold Coin BBQ and both the Gadu and Djirringanj Dancers from 6pm outside, followed by the concert from 7 til 9pm. The kids of Wallaga will show off their new musical skills, some of the older generation will blow you away with their talent, and singer/songwriter Neil Murray from the Warumpi Band will make a very special guest appearance. This is a unique concert of music, film, art and culture NOT to be missed! Concert entry is Gold Coin also. There will be original artworks (painted violins) for sale at the Wallaga Lake Community Concert on Friday night 18 Nov from 6pm at the Wallaga Lake Community Hall.
