Love and care needed at Chesher Park

Love and care needed at Chesher Park

Chesher Park began as a millennium project for and by the community. For some time now community participation has fallen away leaving Rotary and the Chesher family to do most of the care. This is a pity because the park is so often used and enjoyed by so many.

The park is stretching Rotary’s resources and they would like to invite the people of Moruya to come to a working bee next Saturday 19th November from 9.00am.

There is plenty of pruning, weeding and general cleaning up to do. Rotary will have trailers to take prunings to the waste depot. You may like to bring your favourite equipment such as secateurs, saws or loppers. Or a friend. Or just bring yourself and a sense of humour.

The good community service and fellowship will be followed by homemade cake, morning tea and a chat. Media Release

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
