Night road works in Bay CBD - Sunday Nov 27th and Monday 28th

Night road works in Bay CBD

Parts of the Batemans Bay CBD will be closed to traffic overnight this Sunday and Monday night to allow Council crews to carry out road works.

North Street will be closed between Clyde Street and Perry Street on Sunday night from 7pm to 5am, and Clyde Street will be reduced to one lane between North Street and Stingrays Ocean Grill to enable crews to lay new asphalt as part of the Batemans Bay Streetscape project.

On Monday night between 7pm and 5am, a section of Beach Road will be reduced to one lane in front of the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club as crews restore the road after culvert replacement works were completed in May.

Council will make every effort to keep noise and light nuisance to a minimum during the overnight works and asks that motorists take care in the area.

The first stage of the CBD streetscaping project will be complete during the first week of December. Media Release
