Bodalla residents are scratching their heads wondering what the logic was behind leaving a 60kph zone in the middle of the town between the two entrance speed zones of 50kph. Arrive in Bodalla, slow down to 50 ..... and then speed up again through the middle of town past the bus stop, past the cycleway and the police station and then..... slow down to 50 for the last section before leaving town. The bit that really does get locals wondering is that the 60 zone includes the bus stop which is used by the local school kids. The RMS have been asked what their logic was but, as yet, there has been no reply. In order to raise this as an issue locals can contact the office of Andrew Constance in Bega where he will direct concerns raised to the Eurobodalla Traffic Committee and further up the line if required.
