CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON NAROOMA BRIDGE
Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway at Narooma Bridge from next week for routine maintenance work to be carried out.
Work includes the biannual inspection and service of the lift span operation, to ensure the bridge’s continued reliable operation to allow it to open efficiently for large marine traffic, and reduce delays for motorists.
Work is also designed to reduce long term maintenance costs.
To reduce the impact to motorists, work has been scheduled between 7pm and 5am from Monday 12 to Thursday 15 December, weather permitting.
For the safety of workers and motorists, lane closures, traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks motorists for their patience while work is carried out.
