It was terrific to see the Wednesday print edition of the Narooma News on the stands today after a break of a few weeks. Being a core of what is happening in the south of the Shire the paper's absence was noted by many and it was missed. One thing that was highlighted by its absence was that the community heavily rely on local news and as a result took to social media instead to promote markets, events, gigs, cinema programs, business openings, sales and even to provide much needed news feed regarding the recent fatality and 10 hour highway closure at Tilba. The Narooma News has long been edited by the well respected journalist Stan Gorton. The Narooma News plays a crucial role in our community and Stan's long dedication to the paper is widely appreciated across the southern area of Eurobodalla covering Tuross Head to Akolele and the Tilbas. The Narooma News comes out in print every Wednesday. It is also free to read on line if you are out of the area. Be sure you have the Narooma News as part of your daily news feed via their website or the Narooma News Facebook Page. Welcome back Stan.
