Therese Holgate of Nature Coast Dragon Boat Club Moruya has been selected for the Australian National Dragon Boat Team – The ‘Auroras’.

The Aurora’s comprise Australia’s strongest and most dedicated paddlers who in the 6 years since their inception by AusDBF in 2010 have grown in strength and been recognised internationally.
The Aurora’s are represented in categories A, B, C and Juniors and it is a testament to Therese’s tireless dedication and hard work that she was picked for the B team.
Therese has previously competed at Regional and State level, winning gold in last year’s Nationals held in Adelaide.
She is currently training extremely hard to meet the stringent training regime requirements leading up to the IDBF 13th World Nation Championships 2017 China in August.
Nature Coast Dragon Boat Club is extremely proud of Therese and is looking forward to supporting her along the way.
