Last year Council’s Open Studio program teamed up with the River of Art festival and it was such a success we would like to do it again.
Indi Carmichael will be coordinating the program as she did last year so please direct all your Open Studio information to her.
All other River of Art events must be submitted to River of Art via their website. You can find their artist submission page by following this link

In 2016 we saw the majority of studios open on the first weekend. The festival committee has asked all participating studios to consider opening on the second weekend in addition to, or instead of, the first weekend. They are attempting create an even spread of events across the duration of the festival. It is agreed that it would be great for artists to be able to get out and see other studios also, which can’t be done do if all studios are open at once.
The two weekends are 20 – 21 May and 27 – 28 May.
You are of course welcome to open during the week also.
Indi will keep an eye on the information as it comes in to create a more balanced event. It would help her if you could indicate whether you are available on either weekend.
To ensure your studio is listed in the ROA 2017 Program, please send Indi an email that has the following information and an image of your work for advertising purposes.

The dates and times during the festival that you can undertake to have your studio open. (please keep this as simple as possible)
