Moruya District Hospital Auxiliary Community News
Moruya District Hospital Auxiliary's first meeting for 2017 will be held on Monday 6th February at 2.00pm in the Pathways Bldg, Moruya District Hospital, River St Moruya. We will be discussing and finalising our fundraising programme for this year.
Visitors are always welcome. "Do you want to help your community? Do you want to be part of a friendly, active, welcoming group? Are you enthusiastic and have community spirit?"
In the past 18 months the Auxiliary gifted to Moruya District Hospital much needed equipment to the value of $165,986.37 throughout all departments of the hospital including, Emergency, Maternity, Renal, Oncology, Radiology, Operating Theatre, General Wards, Physio, Dental, Speech Therapy and Community Health. It could not be done without the ongoing support of the community. The Hospital "Wish List" is ongoing.
Current scheduled fundraising includes:-
- Regular Charity Cash Bingo every Sunday at the Moruya Bowling & Recreational Club eyes down 1.30pm
- First raffle commences 9th February at Woolworths Moruya, Also selling at Tuross Head 11th February outside Newsagency and IGA Dalmeny and will be drawn on 7th April at Woolworths.
