Dead Men Laughing with Veteran Actors Max Cullen and Warren Fahey

Veteran actors Max Cullen and Warren Fahey are back in a new play DEAD MEN LAUGHING, following the hugely successful "Dead Men Talking" where they portrayed Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson. This time they appear as Australia's two most famous comics - Roy "Mo" Rene and Lennie Lower.

Once again they are in Heaven, well not quite, for their characters are stuck outside Heaven's Gate because of a "technical difficulty". Lennie has misplaced his ID card and has been refused entry. "Mo", the stage and radio star, and "Lo", the journalist and author of the best-selling "Here's Luck", devise a show to "impress" gatekepper St. Peter. Not everything goes according to the script!

Part Tivoli and part twisted "Waiting for Godot" the two characters sing and misbehave as they rehearse and tell stories. Like "Dead Men Talking" the new play salutes Australian history by bringing the characters back to the centre stage.
