Community Vision Project workshop

Members of the community who offered contribution to Council's community visioning survey "Helping to make our Eurobodalla great" survey were invited to attend a workshop in Moruya last week with Council and other community members to provide further input into the review of the Community Strategic Plan.

The independently facilitated workshop provided feed back of the results of the survey to the attendees. With the subsequent discussions and the survey results Council now hope to work combine the feedback to assist in developing their Community Vision and Plan strategies for the future. Council Anthony Mayne, one of the attending Councillors commented on the workshop: "A major theme from the community is the importance of our environment. Our beaches, forests, rivers are central to our lives together on the Eurobodalla - South Coast NSW."

Editors Note: If the future of Batemans Bay holds any interest for you I encourage you to read the excellent article "Batemans Bay - where to now ? by Susan Mackenzie "

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
