The Tuross Head Country Club took the opportunity last Sunday to thank the many club volunteers for their contribution to the success of the organisation over the past year.
Members of the men’s, ladies and veteran golf sub clubs, the bowling club and fishing club gathered together for a morning round of golf or bowls followed by a presentation and excellent bbq luncheon.
Club President, Cathy Milliken thanked over 100 supporting volunteers for their work during the year which has resulted in the clubs facilities and grounds now being presented in such a good condition.
Peter Macdonald, president of Men’s Bowls, Derek Hoare representing the THCC club director and representing veteran golfers, president Cathy Milliken and bowls co-ordinator Andrew Farrington, all added their appreciation for the strong support provided by the active sporting and social groups within the club facility.
The volunteers appreciated the gesture of acknowledgement and took the opportunity to enjoy the fun day to the fullest.
