Another very eventful week for The Beagle We are fast approaching 10,000 regular readers and it is with pleasure that we are seeing new readers coming on to the site and exploring our newly created Sports Page, Music Page and the Classifieds and Trades listings. The feedback has been terrific and all of the email messages of support are much appreciated and further encouraging that what we are doing is on track and providing what you, the community want which is FREE, inclusive, informative news, from articles to press releases, that cover the Shire. It comes as no surprise that a lot of our emails of support and thanks come from non-resident ratepayers who are delighted with the commentary provided by Peter Cormick on Council matters and congratulate The Beagle of "bringing in a breath of fresh air" and to "finally report on issues that matter rather than what might be considered “sexy” or “sensationalist” for the sole purpose of selling papers". On this note though The Beagle congratulates Stan Gorton of the Narooma News for his consistent support of the Narooma community and reporting of events in the South of the Shire and we compliment him on his recent qualitative coverage of the Brou Tip Leachate presentation held this week in Narooma that was held to dispel fears of toxicity in Brou Lake. The Beagle also covered that media call and you can find our article on The Beagle Editors Choice page along with our other selected stories and articles of the week that was. The favourite one was the opportunity for The Beagle to replace the stolen plants at the All Saints Church, Bodalla where miscreants had purloined two japonica box plants from the newly established labyrinth.
