Work starts today to install the new fencing around Corrigans Reserve inclusive playground at Batehaven.
The new fence will use panels from the old fence, plus new curved sections to accommodate the playground’s shape.
The fencing is black steel, and similar in style to pool fencing at around 1.2 metres high.
Sections of the playground will be fenced off and out of bounds during installation of the fencing, but all the play equipment will still be open to the public.
The new fence should be in place by the end of the month
A grand opening of the playground is anticipated for March. Media Release Editors Note: Click here to learn more about the The Bay Push's plans for stage 2. and you an follow the Bay Push news updates via their Facebook Page
