Changed Traffic Conditions On Kings Highway 21st to 24th Feb and 28th Feb to 2nd Mar

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Kings Highway between Currowan and Nelligen from next week for essential maintenance work.

Patching work will be carried out to provide a safer road surface on various sections of the highway between Lyons Road at Currowan and Reid Street at Nelligen.

Work is scheduled between 7am and 5pm from Tuesday 21 to Friday 24 February and Tuesday 28 February to Thursday 2 March, weather permitting.

For the safety of workers and motorists, traffic control, temporary lane closures and a contra flow will be in place during work hours, with delays of up to five minutes expected.

A temporary reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will also be in place through work sites.

Motorists should plan their journey and allow for additional travel time.

Roads and Maritime thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
