08:35:44 Saturday 18/2/2017 Long Beach 1 & Long Beach 7 responded to a Fire Call of a Motor vehicle accident East Off the Princess Highway along Cullendulla Drive to a single car that had slid off the road in wet conditions around a corner. The single occupant of the vehicle was not injured. The road was subsequently closed to one lane while police conducted mandatory breath and drug testing. Once done the car could be towed from the scene. A short time later Cullendulla Drive was re-opened in both directions.
We advise all drivers: In wet conditions:
Drive slowly—to avoid aquaplaning and skidding.
Also we had a motorist disregard advise from Rural Fire Brigade Members to so down around the accident site where the motorist abused the member then sped up disregarding all safety for anyone else on the road.
