John Eglitis was an easy winner in the Tuross Head Saturday par competition with a fine round of plus 4.
He was followed by a group of golfers John Phyland, Greg Ware, Reginald Apps and Bruce Lidbury who all returned plus 2.
Nearest the pin winners were A grade:
Dave Schmid on the 4th hole with 7.18 m.
Ken Brown on the 6th scored with 0.70 m and
Ian Lawson was closest on the 7th with 12.5 m.
B grade: Ian Manton won the 4th with 11.81 m.
Kevin Dukes was best on the 6th hole with 2.30 m and
Mike Allen won the 7th with 5.91 m.
C grade: Russ Elliott was best on the 4th with 1.25 m and
Terry Milliken was awarded the 7th hole with 8.20 m.
The coming Saturday event is a 4BBB Single Par round.
Thursday’s 18 hole stableford medley round was won by Peter Nikolic with 43 points ahead of Colin Houghton 39,
Bruce Lidbury 39 and Glen Shearer 38.
