Police arrest in Moruya


MORUYA

A Moruya man wanted on 3 warrants has been arrested by police on Tuesday morning 21 February 2017.

Police attended a residential address in Rose Street, Moruya at 7:40am.

The man was sighted in a vehicle parked in the driveway. He attempted to run from police and was tacked to the ground and handcuffed after a struggle.

Police located a quantity of cannabis in the vehicle which was seized.

He was taken to Batemans Bay Police Station. The warrants were executed and he was charged with Possess prohibited drug and Resist police.
