The weekend of the Paddle Challenge has arrived The event starts with the Launch & JJ's Bonfire Night on Friday 5 May 2017, from 4pm – 9pm Bring the kids on Friday afternoon/night and enjoy JJ's Bonfire night with music, entertainment, food stalls and activities to celebrate the official Batemans Bay Paddle Challenge Launch at Korners Park, Batemans Bay. Family friendly and alcohol free event.All locals welcome!!! Pre-registration night for paddlers. Then on Saturday 6th May, the Paddle Challenge Races & Fun Runs take place. From 9am You can register for:Races • Open Marathon Race (26km) • Open Masters Marathon Race for 50+ (26km) • Open Half Marathon Race (13km) • Youth Race (8km) Events/Fun Runs (great for locals to have some fun on the water) • Paddle Run for single or multi-person vessels (8km) • Family Double Kayak Run (2km) Spectators will enjoy music, food and on-shore activities at Korners Park, the race start point.
