Up against the Group 7 powerhouse Kiama Knights the Batemans Bay Tigers only went down by 2 tries scoring five tries against seven which was a good result with player/coach Tim Del Guzzo's new Tiger team trialing a few different combinations. There was an added highlight for some of the Tiger 18's who had a run and did the club proud and for coach Tim who scored the first try of the season.
