Tuesday 28 February was another great night for the Eurobodalla Photographic Club.
37 members attended including four new joiners. Our judge for the evening was Russell Field who kindly drove down from Wollongong at short notice after the previously booked judge was unable to attend. Our thanks go to Russell who is a committee member of the NSW Federation of Camera Clubs and an international judge.
In addition to our normal monthly competition, other activities were on the agenda. In October 2016 the club asked for volunteers to undertake photo assignments. The three subjects offered for the assignments were Textures, Glass and Bridges. Each volunteer was asked to take eight photographs and then to give a short presentation explaining the techniques they used to produce them. On Tuesday night Anne Brown, Lyn Hughes and Michelle Merry each presented eight photographs of their particular subject. They produced some very nice photographs and are to be commended on their skills and the effort they put in.
Using Photoshop CC, Colin Pass gave a demonstration of how to manipulate photographs to produce creative images. Members were asked to experiment and bring their creative images to the next meeting.
