The Bermagui Seaside Fair is a multi-award winning community event located between beautiful Bermagui Harbour and scenic Horseshoe Bay. Attracting around 10,000 people, it is a free fun filled day for everyone For early risers there’s the Bermagui Blessing and Poet’s Breakfast with bacon and egg rolls. A major attraction is the huge fancy dress street parade at 10.00am followed by music and entertainment on 2 stages throughout the day. Don’t miss the “Umbrellas of Bermagui” auction on Dickinson Oval. 15 local businesses have sponsored a 2.7m shade umbrella each of which have been hand decorated by local artists. These magnificent works of art will go under the hammer at 12.45pm with proceeds this year going to Bermagui Nippers. In various venues around town are exhibitions of art, craft and photography . There’s free kid’s entertainment and novelty events, a charity auction, auction, hole in one golf beach bash, sandcastle competition and over 100 market and food stalls.
