The Tuross Head Country Club Saturday Scoty stableford competition is always a popular event and this week resulted in a win for Bruce Martin with a round of 39 points.
Paul Ferguson handed in a card with the same score of 39 but was relegated to second placing on a countback.
Bruce Lidbury scored 37 points for third placing followed by Steve O’Shea and Stuart McKell both on 36 points.
Nearest the pins competition:
A grade: Adam Husband was best on the 4th hole with 2.77 m.
Reginald Apps won the 6th with 1.66 m and
Col Houghton was closest on the 7th with 11.62 m.
B grade: Steve Swanbury was awarded the 4th hole with a close 0.98 m.
Bruce Martin won the 5th with 0.99 m and Marty Booth the 7th with 4.09 m.
C grade: Roger Chappell won the 4th with 4.80 m.
Mike Allen was closest on the 6th with 66.77 m and
Sean Bamborough won the 7th hole with 5.88 m.
The coming Saturday round is a stableford 6 x 6 x 6 competition.
Thursday’s 18 hole medley stableford competition was won by Paul Ferguson on 39 points ahead of Leigh Coloe 38 points, Bruce Lidbury 36 and Jim Wade 35.
