Dear Editor Back in December council agreed to respond to the Citizens Jury's recommendations in March 2017. The published agenda for next Tuesday's council meeting contains no such response. There are no other scheduled meetings this month. Does this imply that council has decided not to respond to the recommendations, or is it that there is no agreement on an appropriate response? Either way, council needs to bring this expensive and disappointing exercise to a quick conclusion and resume detailed program and budget discussions with informed community groups without further delay.
