Women's Rugby League was certainly the winner at Mackay Park, Batemans Bay today in a tight match up between the Illawarra and Canberra. Half time score was 16 : 12 and the 2nd half remained scoreless. A great win to Illawarra and a fantastic effort from Canberra.

During the match the well attended crowds saw venue hosts, Bay Tigers, represenatives going around the ground with a signed indigenous jersey.
