Eurobodalla Council construction crews will widen and seal sections of Old South Coast Road at south Narooma and Ridge Road in Tilba over the coming months.
Since the jobs are quite close by, crews will work on both sites at the same time to save time and money on equipment and resourcing.
Vegetation clearing has started at Old South Coast Road and will move to Ridge Road next week before both roads are rebuilt to improve their drainage and alignment, then sealed with bitumen.
Council staff have met onsite with residents from both localities to brief them about the works and answer questions.
The project will be complete before the end of June and is part of Council’s $1.14 million local rural road upgrades program. Media Release
