Something very special is happening in Tilba this year. Every Easter Saturday for the last 32 years the town of Central Tilba comes alive with great bands, roaming street performers, hilarious street games, rides, markets, Aboriginal dance and art and delicious food. World flavours, made locally. French, Turkish, Japanese, Lebanese, Italian, Dutch…delicacies will mix with Flavours of Tilba to feed the crowd of thousands. There’s the famous Reptile Awareness Snake Show and visitors will be treated all day to a huge variety of music from jazz to folk, the blues, hip hop and Raio de Sol drummers!
But then on Easter Sunday, the little town of Tilba puts on one of the biggest Easter Eggstravaganza in the country! Every trading shop in the town is giving away free Easter Eggs delivered earlier by the Easter Bunny himself! Colourful baskets full of Easter Eggs will great customers and visitors in the picturesque town made famous by River Cottage Australia.

That’s not all…The Tilba Easter weekend is the beginning of fabulous events to celebrate autumn on the South Coast. Narooma’s Oyster Festival, Batemans Bay’s inaugural Paddle Challenge and the ever growing River of Art Festival are all on in May. It’s all happening on the South Coast this autumn! See you in Tilba!
