Batemans Bay Toastmasters were presented with their new banner at the last meeting by Amanda Annabel, Area Director. This followed the rebranding of Toastmasters International and is the start of a complete reorganisation of the methods used in Toastmaster clubs worldwide.

Later this year the new educational system will be released changing the old system which has been evolving for the last 93 years. The new system is deemed to be more user friendly and modern with greater digital content.

Margret Perger of Moruya Toastmasters was at the meeting to explain to the members the roll out of the new system, and answer any questions that the members had. Margret said that the new system would be a big change in how Toastmasters operate and will allow more flexibility with members being able to choose one of ten new pathways through the program.

President Noal Annabel welcomed the new banner and the new system saying this was going to be a system we will all benefit from. In accepting the banner, he said “Toastmasters is the world’s best communication and leadership organisation and with the new educational system will continue well into the future being so. At the cost of a cup of coffee a week it is also the most economical. For more information about Batemans Bay Toastmasters please visit their site @ http://www.bbtoastmasters.org.au/
