On March 29th the Nelligen Progress Association advised that the NSW Government Veterans Affairs (through the Community War Memorials Fund) had approved a grant of $3500 for the restoration and cleaning of Nelligen's 96 year old Memorial.
As an update to that news the Association are now pleased to advise that Eurobodalla Shire Council have agreed to provide funding to enable solar powered lighting of Nelligen's memorial. Work will commence after 2017 Anzac Day commemorations, under guidance of Council's Heritage advisor.
