Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway at Batemans Bay Bridge from this Sunday for essential maintenance work.
The work has been scheduled as part of the bridge’s regular six monthly service, to ensure the Clyde River crossing continues to be reliable and safe for south coast motorists.
To minimise the impact on motorists, work will be carried out for five nights between 7pm and 5am from Sunday 30 April until Thursday 4 May, weather permitting.
Tests will also be carried out on the bridge lift system on Wednesday 3 May between 8pm and 12am which may result in delays up to 15 minutes to motorists.
One lane will be closed for the duration of the work with traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks motorists for their patience while work is carried out.
