Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Princes Highway at Dignams Creek as part of the Dignams Creek upgrade. Work on the NSW Government’s $45 million Princes Highway upgrade to improve safety and efficiency started this month and is continuing. Roads and Maritime Services will carry out vegetation removal at the northern end of the project between Monday 1 and Friday 12 May. Work is scheduled on weekdays from 7.30am to 6pm, weather permitting. For the safety of workers and motorists, traffic may be stopped on the highway and delays of up to 10 minutes are expected, but the school bus will not be affected. Motorists are advised to follow the direction of traffic controllers at all times, keep to the reduced speed limit, plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
