From the organisers of the Batemans Bay Paddle Challenge "And that's a wrap for the Batemans Bay Paddle Challenge for 2017. A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL! We can look back on an awesome first ever Batemans Bay Paddle Challenge with 120 participants in a variety of different vessels and categories! Many thanks to all paddlers for coming out from as far as Melbourne and Sydney to explore our unspoilt Clyde River! We could not have organised this event without a very dedicated volunteer organising committee, all of our generous sponsors, our media partners and event partners. It was a huge effort by the many volunteers working behind the scenes and attending their tasks on the day. Thank you to the supportive stall holders, the food & drink vans, the bands & performers, the kids entertainment and to the kayak providers Special thanks to the SES, Marine Rescue and Surf Life Saving for your attendance along with Lions, Scouts and many more organisations and companies who have generously donated time, effort or donations towards this wonderful and very successful community event.
The NSW SES Batemans Bay Unit send this message:
