Great effort by the Broulee Moruya Australian Football Club DG at their first home game. Whilst they went down by 70pts to Narooma there was a big improvement over the previous week with some terrific skills on display and impressive linkages of play out of the backline. Welcome to new players Brendan, Adam, Nik and Kaine - great to see them on board. Jeff, Shannon, Lambey and Brendan were strong across the middle along with Jules who has lost little of his first grade flair - brilliant!
The backline worked hard with Dunny and Adam defending hard all day. Blewie and Dorny provided mobile targets up front when we managed to push forward. Blake, Theo and Lochie were again brilliant providing loads of run and skill at ground level. Thanks also to Marty who sacrificed his position in the line up to umpire along with Boyd. Hopefully, injured Giants Doug, Bill and yours truly will be back on the park for Round 4. See you at training 5:45pm Thursday.
