Early Work Continues On Princes Highway Dignams Creek Upgrade

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week at Dignams Creek as early work continues on the Princes Highway upgrade.

Work on the NSW Government’s $45 million upgrade to improve safety and efficiency started last month.

Roads and Maritime Services will carry out a second phase of vegetation removal at the northern end of the project from Monday 22 May.

Work is scheduled on weekdays from 7.30am to 6pm and is expected to take around two weeks to complete, weather permitting.

For the safety of workers and motorists, traffic may be stopped on the highway and delays of up to 10 minutes are expected, although the school bus will not be affected.

Motorists are advised to follow the direction of traffic controllers at all times, keep to the reduced speed limit, plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
