Celebrating local business excellence


Nominations for the 2017 Eurobodalla Business Awards are now open.

Council’s business development team and Eurobodalla’s five Chambers of Commerce are working together on this shire-wide event for the second year running, giving local businesses the opportunity to be recognised for their outstanding achievements.

The Awards are endorsed by the NSW Business Chamber and Regional Awards.

This year’s awards program boasts 10 categories; business leader, young entrepreneur, sustainability, accessibility, export, innovation, start up, local chamber of commerce, small business and business.

Organisers are expecting to host up to 400 people at the gala dinner to announce the winners on Saturday August 12 at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club.

Applications close at 11:59pm on Friday 30 June 2017. All businesses are eligible to enter the awards providing they meet the terms and conditions.

Council is hosting a series of free workshops starting this week to help businesses with their applications:

  • Narooma - Wednesday 31 May, 5.30-7.30pm, The Bunker, Lower Level, Midtown Arcade, 4-6 Noorooma Cres, Narooma

  • Batemans Bay - Thursday 1 June 5.30-7.30pm South Tribe, 1/10 Kylie Crescent, Batemans Bay

  • Moruya - Tuesday 6 June, 5.30pm – 7.30pm, Moruya TAFE, 2857 Prince Highway, Moruya Media Release
