Eurobodalla Council is inviting residents to take part in a survey on Batemans Bay car parking time limits.
Council wants to find out whether the current time limits within on- and off-street public parking are meeting the needs of businesses and the community.
Parking in the Batemans Bay CBD is currently time limited in high-use areas to ensure vehicle turnover and allow more people to access shops and services.
The review only includes council-managed on- and off-street parking areas and does not include private car parks, such as those provided by Village Centre, Bridge Plaza and BayLink.
Council is also seeking feedback from people with a mobility (disabled) parking permit about their experiences parking in the CBD.
Council has created two surveys – one for business operators and one for community members – asking how long people should be able to park in the CBD.
The surveys were hand-delivered to businesses and property owners this week. Community members can complete the survey on Council’s website www.esc.nsw.gov.au until Friday 23 June
Results will be provided to the Eurobodalla Local Traffic Committee for their consideration before being presented to councillors. Media Release
