Moruya District Hospital Auxiliary members are very excited for the upcoming 50th Anniversary celebrations of when the Auxiliary was reformed back in 6th June 1967. We originally formed back in 1954.
We will celebrate with a cake cutting ceremony with past members and our President and also a luncheon at the Moruya Bowling Club. The Mayor and several Councillors will join us for the cake cutting.
We will also be joined by representatives of the Eurobodalla Health Service and members from other Auxiliaries in the South Eastern Region and our Guest Speaker is Brad Rossiter.
The Auxiliary will be holding a Street Stall on Saturday 10th June 8.30am to 12noon outside Harris Scarfe Moruya, with delicious cakes, slices, jams, sauces, pickles and beautiful craft items. Great prices and all made with loving care by our members. Come and say hello to our volunteers.
It is very rewarding to be a volunteer and be able to fundraise for much needed equipment and services for the comfort and care of patients at Moruya District Hospital & Community Health. 100% of all donations to the Auxiliary are used to purchase items on their "Wish List" which is ongoing. 50th Anniversary Tuesday 6th June 1967 and Street Stall Saturday 10th June 8.30 to 12noon
