OzHarvest are looking for volunteers

OzHarvest (OzHarvest Sapphire Coast) rescue good food, mainly from supermarkets, but also other suppliers such as shops, clubs, growers and producers. This food then is distributed free to local charities and not-for-profit organisations. OzHarvest operate from south to Eden up to Narooma/Bermagui. They rely on volunteers to collect the food, and without them they are not able to continue their work. They currently have two volunteers working in the Narooma/Bermagui area, collecting food from Woolies Bermagui and Narooma, and also the 777 Supermarket in Bermagui. This food goes to the Little Yuin Preschool in Wallaga Lake; Quama school, and Katungul Medical Centre in Narooma. OzHarvest are seeking a few more volunteers in the Narooma to Bermagui area to enable them to have a few spare volunteers to cover in case people are sick or can't continue volunteering. Have a look at their Facebook page to see what they've been up to https://www.facebook.com/OzHarvestSapphireCoast/ Contact 0438 407 364 for more information
