After a very successful Batemans Bay and Districts Past and Present event recently held at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club in May the organisers have donated proceeds from the night to the Batemans Bay Museum committee for restoration of their toilets. They have given $1082.50 each to the Batemans Bay Hospital Auxiliary and the Old Court House Museum. If you are wondering about the significance of the pottys the museum will use this money to upgrade their bathroom facilities to accommodate disabled access The money was raised from the sale of CDs and DVDs produced by the Past and Present Group showcasing the diverse archive of images that had been loaded to the Facebook page as people began to rummage through old photo collections. For those interested in a copy there are still some CDs and DVDs available for purchase at the Old Courthouse Museum in Museum Place, Batemans Bay
