Corey the Warrior screening at Cannes

It will be a proud moment for the Batemans Bay filmmaker Isabel Darling when 'Corey the Warrior' is screened at the Cannes Short Film Festival in September. The mission of the Cannes Short Film Festival is to screen some of the most innovative international short films. The 2017 festival will return to Cinema Pathé Masséna, running from September 13 – 16. Isabel's film was made as part of the Createability initiative from ABC, Screen NSW and Screenworks, funding regional filmmakers to profile artists with disability living and working in NSW If you can't make it to France in September you can watch 'Corey the Warrior' at this link. Listen here to artist Corey Stewart and filmmaker Isabel Darling talk about the making of the short documentary Corey the Warrior.
