SAGE is very excited to announce that they have been successful in receiving a $6,900 grant from IMB Bank to run a 2 hour veggie course for a low fee of $10 and for participants with a concession card. Attendees also have the option of having a veggie bed fully installed in their backyard. Bunnings in Batemans Bay have generously donated 25 garden beds to a value of $2,500 and Phil Timms from Magendaura Creek Farm is providing seedlings to SAGE at half price.
The veggie gardening courses will be held at the SAGE garden in Moruya, the Tuross Head Community Garden and the Narooma Community Garden during September and October 2017.
