Invitation to Canberra region Beagle readers


SOUTH COAST PASTELLISTS BRING COLOUR TO CANBERRA AT SWEET COPPER CAFÉ & GALLERY Old School House, Ginninderra, Nicolls, ACT from 2nd July to 31st July, 2017

Ten top award winning South Coast Pastel Society artists namely, Kath Andrews, Lyn Woolridge, Nina Poulton, Grace Paleg, Eric Strachan, Dani Williams, Vanessa Williams, Nina Balas, Annie Slade and Dot Ward have combined forces to present a pastel only art exhibition outside the South Coast region. Bringing colour to Canberra during the dark winter days will showcase the diversity of our Pastel & coastal painters.

Each artist brings their unique style, colour and application to their selected works and with subject matter covering landscape, seascape, still life, flora & fauna and contemporary/abstract there will an art work to please all tastes. Many of our local artists are recognised for their unique works, master pastellist Grace is well known for her mastery of light, Lyn’ seascapes are always popular, Eric continues to win awards and each artist has exhibited both nationally and or solo. All works will be for sale and will be exhibited at the Sweet Copper Restaurant/Gallery located at the Old Ginninderra School House, Canberra from 2 July until 31st July.

The official exhibition meet and greet opening will be held on Sunday 2 July at 3 pm and each of these artists extends a warm welcome to join them for wine & nibbles.


NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
