Doug the new hearing dog for Rosanna McClifty.
Rosanna's last hearing dog, Luna, was unfortunately bitten by a snake a few months ago.
Rosanna was expecting to have to wait for up to 12 months to receive a new dog, however circumstances changed and she was able to receive a hearing dog earlier.
Batemans Bay Lions Club sponsored the delivery and handover of Doug from the Hearing Dog Training Centre located in Hahndorf South Australia.
The photographs show Doug with Rosanna McClifty and trainer Belinda Waters receiving a cheque for $ 2000 from Lions Club President Jacki Harding.
