Cooma maintained its undefeated season after scoring late to defeat Bombala 28-26 in the top of the ladder clash.

Batemans Bay scored 7 tries to six but better goal kicking saw Narooma edge out the Tigers 34-32

Eden enhanced its semi final prospects with a solid 18-16 over bitter rivals Bega

Defending premiers Moruya have slipped out of the top five after their 18-14 away loss to Merimbula Pambula.

Bermagui hosted all three SCAFL first grade games on the weekend.

Narooma continues to rule the roost after disposing of Merimbula 21.13 39 to 9.8.62

Pambula defeated Tathra 21.16.142 to 6.13.49. While the win was not unexpected, the size of the scoreline was.

Hosts Bermagui had too much firepower kicking 21.9.135 to the struggling Eden Whalers 9.6.60

Broulee Moruya Giants had an unsuccessful weekend in the junior ranks. Their Under 16s lost to Merimbula 12.12.84 to 1.6.12, the Under 13s lost to Bermagui 8.11.59 to 1.2.8 and their Under 11s lost to Bermagui 8.5.53 to 7.4.46

In the ACTAFL, Batemans Bay Seahawks 4th Division had a solid 16.19.115 win over Tuggeranong 4.4.28

Rugby Union A good win on the road on Saturday with the Bay Boars defeating Yass 31 to 29. With the scores locked at 21 all at half time, it was the Boars who came out the second half the strongest, before holding of strong finishing Rams team. We now turn our attention to next week for our indigenous round.
