Broulee Runners - Wed July 12th

The crisp clear evening attracted 41 starters to the school holiday Broulee Run and Walk.

We welcomed the Myers family of Lara, Emily and mother Steph of Canberra to their first run. Also new was Prue Bartlett, who run an excellent time in the 5 kilometres.

Personal best times were, in the main, a family affair with Alice and Lucy Hincksman; Louis, William, Hugo, Oliva Hayward; Mollie and Samson Kennedy; Makayla and Rachael Wade.

Others to improve were Erin Domeny and Greg Flood.

It is worth mentioning that this is Greg’s third personal best time in as many weeks.

The outstanding performance was from Lucy Hincksman, who missed the course record in the 3.5 kilometres by one second.

Lucy is an outstanding 12-year-old athlete now living in Canberra. She is a regular to our run.

She trains and races in the National Capital, this competition has helped her improve her time over this distance by 45 seconds.
